CHRONIC PAIN? YOU FOUND HOPE: THE ALTMAN METHOD

"The Altman Method is not an abstract philosophy but a practical, reproducible framework that integrates structural integrity, biochemistry, neurology, and energy. It gives patients answers where they have only been dismissed, and it gives providers tools where they have only had protocols."
- Dr. Steven Murphy

DR. SEAN ALTMAN
Functional Medicine Doctor &
Orthopedic Expert

Dr. Sean Altman isn’t just a clinician—he’s lived the pain he now helps others overcome. In his 20s, he battled Chronic Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, repeated concussions, and joint injuries. His labs and scans all came back “normal.” His pain didn’t. A collapse at work led to a torn rotator cuff, a meniscus injury, and another concussion. Conventional medicine had no answers.
So he built his own.
Sean spent years mapping the missing connections between structure, chemistry, nervous system regulation, and energy signaling. That framework became The Altman Method—a systems-based approach that identifies and treats the root cause of pain and dysfunction, rather than masking symptoms.
Today, Dr. Altman uses advanced diagnostics like real-time ultrasound and targeted regenerative therapies to restore movement, repair tissue, and rewire how the body heals. His clinical toolkit includes his own AltPoint PNE device/treatment, frequency-specific microcurrent, laser therapy, shockwave, and precise manual interventions—all applied in the right signal, to the right system, in the right order.
His patients include athletes, trauma survivors, long COVID patients, and people who’ve been told “everything looks fine” for far too long.
Dr. Altman lives in Stamford, Connecticut with his wife and two children. When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find him on the ice playing hockey or speaking nationally about next-generation regenerative care.
